MORE INFO:
Join us for a session at the PNWS-AWWA Western Washington Short School in Tulalip, WA! This class provides a comprehensive overview of the critical valves used in pump control systems—automatic control valves, check valves, and air valves—and their essential roles in maintaining optimal operation and reliability in water distribution systems. Participants will explore the functions, types, and applications of these valves in pump stations, gaining insight into how they regulate flow, prevent backflow, and manage air within the system. The course will cover the principles behind automatic control valves, which ensure efficient and reliable operation. Check valves' role in preventing reverse flow and safeguarding the system from potential damage will be discussed, alongside air valves that prevent air lock, maintain system pressure, and enhance pump station performance.
