Last month, we brought on two experienced team members based in Northern and Southern Idaho to help expand our local support capabilities with Factory-Authorized Cla-Val Service, technical sales, and engineering support.
Idaho has been an important part of the work we do at Cimco-GC Systems since day one. Since 1981, we’ve partnered with utilities, engineers, contractors, and distributors across the state through regular service work, control valve trainings, IRWA conferences, site visits, and ongoing technical and engineering support.
Adding two team members who are based in Idaho is an investment in strengthening our long-term presence and responsiveness throughout the region.
Local Support, Backed by Experience
Micah Swet
Micah rejoins Cimco-GC Systems as Service Technician and Sales Support and is based in Coeur d’Alene.
Micah Swet rejoins Cimco-GC Systems as a Factory-Authorized Cla-Val Service Technician and Sales Support supporting Northern Idaho. Many of our customers may already know Micah from his previous years with our service team before he relocated to Coeur d’Alene in 2017. Micah spent the last eight years working for the City of Coeur d’Alene, most recently as a Senior Utility Operator. His background combines hands-on utility experience with extensive Cla-Val service knowledge, making him a valuable local resource for troubleshooting, service work, site evaluations, and customer support.
Eli Varney
Eli joins our Specification Team and is based in Boise, ID.
Eli Varney has joined our Specification Team and is based in Boise. Eli previously spent 12 years working for Cla-Val as a Service Manager. He brings more than a decade of Cla-Val service and technical experience to Southern Idaho, and his field background gives him a practical understanding of the operational and engineering challenges our customers face every day.
Building Closer Connections Across Idaho
These additions increase our ability to support Idaho customers with more frequent touchpoints, closer coordination, and expanded local coverage. Our service team has been actively supporting Idaho for years, often traveling long distances to do so. Having experienced team members based in both Northern and Southern Idaho allows us to build on that foundation in a more consistent and accessible way.
